Amid Panchayat Elections in the state, now the AP Election Commission has released the official notification on AP State Local Body Elections. The AP Chief Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Prakash Kumar officially announced in a press meet today. According to the official notification, the urban local body elections are scheduled on 10 March 2021.

Let us see the AP State Local Body Election schedule recently announced by the AP State Election Commission.
- As per the official announcement, the elections will be held on 10 March 2021 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, there may be a chance of conducting the re-polling if required.
- The polls will be held for 12 Corporations and 75 Municipalities in the state.
- The candidates can withdraw nominations between 2 March to 3 March by 3:00 PM as per the schedule.
- The final list of the contestants will release after 3:00 PM on 3 March 2021.
- It has also been announced that counting for the local body elections will be on 14 March and finished with the evening.
