Step by Step Procedure to Apply RTPS Bihar -Income, Caste, Residence Certificate, Status @rtps.bihar.gov.in
The State Government of Bihar has launched a portal called RTPS for the public in the state. The abbreviation of RTPS is Right To Public Service. The main objective of this digital initiation is to make the citizens avail of different government services online. Under this portal, the list of services includes Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Residence Certificates online for citizens. Moreover, the citizens are not required to visit any government office for the application purpose.

The eligible citizens can visit the official portal of rtps.bihar.gov.in and apply for the available services on the portal.

This article explains the online procedure to apply online for the Income Certificate, Residence Certificate on RTPS Online Portal.
Apply Income Certificate Online @ rtpsonline.bihar.gov.in
Let us see the online procedure to apply for the Income Certificate Online on the RTPS Bihar Portal.
- Visit the Official Portal of RTPS Bihar.
- It takes the online user to the Home Page Below.
- Click on the Online (apply for getting the certificate though self ).
- It then displays the Application Form, as shown below.
- Enter the Aadhaar Number.
- Click on the Check Box: I hereby give my consent for using Aadhaar.
- Enter the Name of the Applicant in English, Name in Hindi.
- Select the Issuance of Income Certificate (CO) option form the drop-down.
- Enter the Mobile Number, as mentioned in the Aadhaar.
- Click on the Next Button.
- It then generates an OTP to the given Mobile Number.
- Copy the OTP in the respective field.
- Click on the Verify Code button.
- It then takes the online user to the next page.
- Select the Salutation. Enter the Name of the Applicant in English and Hindi, Relationship with the Applicant, Father and Mother Name and Select the Gender.
- Enter the Mandal Details, Village/Mohalla, Ward No., Post, Income for Government Source, Income from Agriculture, Income from Job, Income from Other Sources, Annual Income, and Reason for Apply.
- Click on the Next Button.
- It then shows the Declaration Form.
- Read the Declaration Form, Click on the I Agree Check Box and Click on the Submit Button.
- The system then generates the preview of the Application Form, as shown below.
- It then generates and Application ID to the Applicant.
Check Income Certificate Application Status
- Go the Home Page of RTPS.
- Click on the Application Status on the Home Page.
- It then opens up the Application Status Page.
- Enter the Application ID in the respective field.
- Click on the Status Button.
- It then displays the status of your application.

Apply Caste Certificate Online @ rtpsonline.bihar.gov.in
Let us see the online procedure to apply for the Caste Certificate Online on the RTPS Bihar Portal.
- Visit the Official Portal of RTPS Bihar.
- It takes the online user to the Home Page Below.
- Click on the Online (apply for getting the certificate though self ).

Procedure to Print Your Receipt
Let us see the online procedure to print the receipt of your application, as shown in the figure.
- Visit the Official Portal of RTPS Bihar.
- It takes the online user to the Home Page.
- Click on the Print Your Receipt Option on the left side of the page.
- It then redirects the online user to the below page.
- On the newly opened page, Enter your Application ID.
- It then displays and prints the application.
Procedure to get Certified Web Copy
Let us see the online procedure to get the certified web copy of your application, as shown in the figure.
- Click on the Certificate Web Copy Option on the left side of the page.
- It then redirects the online user to the below page.
- On the newly opened page, Enter your Application ID.
- It then displays and prints web copy of the application of Caste, Income and Residence Certificate.
Procedure to Verify Certificate
Let us see the online procedure to get your certificates digitally, as shown in the figure.
- Click on the Verify Certificate Option on the left side of the page.
- It then redirects the online user to the below page.
- On the newly opened page, Enter your Application ID and Certificate Number.
- Now, the applicants can verify their certificated digitally and displays the verification status.
Procedure to Download Certificate
Let us see the online procedure to download the certificate, as shown in the figure.
- Click on the Download Certificate Option on the left side of the page.
- It then redirects the online user to the below page.
- On the newly opened page, Enter your Application ID and Application Date.
- Now, the applicants can download their certificates online on the portal.
