The Kerala Local Body Elections were scheduled in October month of the year 2021 but postponed due to the Covid Pandemic. In the latest move, the Kerala Election Commission has announced that the Local Body Elections of Kerala will be held in three phases in December. The election commission has already given the election scheduled to be held local body elections in Kerala.
The elections were scheduled to be held in October but withheld due to the Corona Cases increase in the state. Keeping the present situation in mind, the EC planned to conduct the Panchayat Elections in 3 Phases.

Kerala Local Body Election Highlights 2021
- The Local Body Elections of Kerala Will be held in three phases in December.
- The First Phase of Local Body Elections will be held on 8 December 2021, Second Phase on 10 December, and the Final Phase on 14 December 2021.
- The Nominations for the elections were held till 19 November.
- The scrutiny of nomination papers was held on 20 November.
- The last for withdrawal of nominations is on 23 November.
- The Results of the Elections will declare on 16 December 2021.
- The first phase of elections will be held for five southern districts Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Idukki.
- The second phase of elections will be held for five southern districts Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, and Wayanad.
- The final stage is on 14 December in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod in northern Kerala.
- In the upcoming elections, a total of 2.71 crore voters are eligible to vote across 34,744 polling stations.
- The Kerala State has 1200 self-government institutions categorized into village panchayats, block panchayats, district panchayats, municipalities, and municipal corporations across 14 districts.
- However, the local body elections are scheduled for 1199 local bodies, and the Mattanur segment follows a separate election tenure.

- It takes the online user to the Home Page.
- Go to the Online Services section on the Home Page.
- Click on the Voter List option in the Online Services Section.
- It then redirects to the next page, as shown below.
- On the newly opened page, Enter the District, Local Body, Ward, Polling Station, Language, and Captcha Code.
- Click on the search button.
- It then displays the Voter List on the redirected page.
- In the Voter List, the applicants can find the Name, Guardian Name, New House No., House Name, House Name, Gender/Age, ID Card Number.

- In the upcoming elections, the CPM, LDF, and UDF Parties are contesting in all three phases.
