Let us see the essential features and points to be noted about the recently announced Karnataka Vidyanidi Program.

  • This scheme has recently announced by the State Government of Karnataka to encourage the children to attend schools.
  • Under this scheme, the students of classes 1st to 10th can attend the half-day schools.
  • The main objective behind launching the Vidyanidhi half-day school program is to enable the students to participate in classes without any fear.
  • However, the government has given strict guidelines to the parents and students to attend classes with proper hygiene, follow social distance, wear masks and gloves.
  • To avoid the crowds, the students will get divided into smaller groups of 15-20. However, the size of the batch depends on the number of teachers and the number of classes.
  • Moreover, the government will also do thermal scanning for students before attending the classes.
  • As per the Covid 19 Guidelines, the students identified with symptoms like fever, cold, and the headache will not be allowed to sit in the classrooms.

Revised Time Table for Classes (1st to 10th) under Karnataka Vidyagam Scheme 

Let us see the revised and the scheduled time table for classes 1st to 7th, 8th & 9th, and class 10th under Karnataka Vidyagam Program.

  • Class 1st to Class 7th – The students can attend classes from 10 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Friday in alternate days. The students can attend courses from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM on Saturday.
  • Class 8th and Class 9th – The students can attend classes from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM from Monday to Friday in alternate days. A student attending the session will be divided into eight groups for each subject.
  • Class 10th time table – The students of class 10th can attend classes from 10 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Friday. The students can attend the classes from 8:30 AM to 11:15 AM on Saturday. A student in eight groups will participate in online classes for eight subjects.
